The Shiragane is Miratsu's precision flagship: 42 mm hardened stainless burrs machined to tight tolerances and mounted on a triple-bearing shaft, with an externally numbered adjustment dial that moves in fine, repeatable steps. That combination is what lets one grinder genuinely cover espresso through French press — at the fine end, small gap changes shift shot times meaningfully, and the numbered dial means you can dial in, note the setting, and return to it exactly. Particle distribution is tight enough that pour-overs run clean and sweet, with fewer fines clogging the filter bed. The polished body is heavy in the best way, and every part disassembles for cleaning without losing your setting. Made in small production runs; when a batch sells through, the next takes a while.
