A pour-over dripper does not need to be expensive to be correct, and the Daybreak is our proof. Glazed ceramic cone, interior ribs, standard drain — the same geometry as drippers costing three times as much, minus the packaging story. Ceramic's heat retention keeps brew water in the proper 195-205°F window better than thin plastic cones, especially if you preheat with a quick rinse of hot water (which also rinses the paper filter). Brew with a medium grind at 1:15 to 1:17 — if the cup tastes thin and sour, go finer; bitter and harsh, go coarser. Takes standard 1-2 cup cone filters, fits most mugs, and goes through the dishwasher. Buy it once, brew with it for years.
