Hartwick ClearCycle Descaling Solution

Limescale is calcium carbonate left behind when hard water is heated, and it builds up quietly — coating kettle floors, narrowing boiler passages, and making machines run hotter and slower. ClearCycle dissolves it with a citric and lactic acid formula that is effective on scale but gentle on stainless steel, aluminum, and seals, and it rinses clean without the lingering odor of vinegar. Use one capful per liter of warm water, run or soak for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse twice with fresh water. For espresso machines, follow your machine's descaling routine so the solution reaches the boiler. Descale monthly with hard water, every two to three months with soft. One 16-ounce bottle handles roughly eight treatments. Unscented, phosphate-free, and much cheaper than a new heating element.
