Hartwick ClearCycle Descaling Powder Packets

The same citric-acid chemistry as our liquid descaler, in pre-measured single-use packets — no guessing at doses, no half-empty bottle under the sink. Each 25 g packet dissolves in a liter of warm water and clears the calcium carbonate scale that hard water leaves in kettles, boilers, and drip machine tanks. Dissolve, run or soak 20 to 30 minutes, rinse twice, done. Powder has practical advantages: it stores indefinitely, weighs almost nothing, and travels well if you maintain a machine at an office or rental. Scale is worth staying ahead of — even a thin layer insulates heating elements, forcing longer heat times and higher energy use, and in espresso machines it can restrict flow enough to change how shots pull. Six packets is roughly a year of monthly kettle care.
